Live Oak Riverfront Park offers convenient access to the Feather River and is located at the east end of Pennington Road. Featuring overnight RV parking, picnic, camping, and barbecue facilities, the Park offers a scenic location for many special events. the Feather River and the nearby Yuba and Sacramento Rivers offer excellent fishing and boating opportunities. Salmon, steelhead, shad, striped bass and small mouth bass can be found in abundance.

The City's well maintained parks are a source of pride. The Live Oak Little League Park, Community Center Building, swimming pool and Memorial Park are located on west Pennington Road.
